One mineral · three treatments
How to prepare and apply the Ghassoul mask
Face · 5–7 minute mask
Clean pores, calm skin
Mix the powder with a little warm water in a bowl until it forms a paste. Apply a thin layer to damp skin, avoiding the eyes, and rinse after 5–7 minutes, while it's still slightly damp. Don't let it dry and crack.
Body · in the hammam, after the Kessa
A mineral wrap
In the traditional ritual it's applied all over the body right after the Kessa glove. Leave it on for 10 minutes in the shower steam, then rinse. Your skin stays velvety.
Scalp & hair · natural shampoo
Volume at the roots
Massage the paste into your wet scalp, leave it on for 3–5 minutes and rinse well. It gently removes oil from the roots, without sulfates, and adds volume to fine hair.
Tested on face, body and scalp

Important details
Frequently asked questions
Why is a non-metal bowl and spoon recommended?
That's how Ghassoul is prepared in the Moroccan tradition. The clay is mixed in wooden, ceramic or glass bowls, which don't react and leave no metallic taste or smell. Wood, ceramic, glass or plastic are all fine.
Why shouldn't it dry completely on my face?
Clay that dries completely can dehydrate and tighten the skin. Leave it on for 5–7 minutes, while it's still slightly damp. When it starts to lighten in color at the edges, rinse it off with lukewarm water.
Which skin type is it suitable for?
Especially for combination, oily or congested skin. For dry or very sensitive skin, White Clay is gentler.
How often can I use it?
1–2 times a week on the face. On the body, once a week, after the Kessa glove.
Can I use it on my scalp and hair?
Yes, it's a traditional natural shampoo. Massage the paste into your wet scalp for 3–5 minutes and rinse well. It adds volume at the roots of fine hair.
How long does a 100 g jar last?
A teaspoon is enough for a face mask, so the jar lasts for many uses. Kept dry, the clay lasts a very long time.
